NEW for WOC 2018! This information-packed session includes three dynamic and knowledgeable speakers presenting on the current state-of-the-art for pervious concrete. Topics of discussion will cover testing, production and placement of pervious with presentations from experts in each these disciplines. Walt Flood, IV, PE is the current chair of the ASTM C09.49 subcommittee, responsible for developing and maintaining the testing standards affecting pervious concrete, and a voting member of ACI 522 Pervious Concrete Committee, and has extensive field experience with pervious. David Liguori is a successful pervious installer who will share from his experience installing pervious concrete pavements. David's presentation will include how contractors can overcome hurdles to the successful installation of pervious and how to show owners and designers the benefits of pervious. Brian Lutey brings over 17 years of experience in producing pervious concrete in a ready mix operation and will share insights about the critical components of Ozinga’s successful program from the concrete producer’s standpoint including materials selection, a unique batching sequence, and quality control procedures.
