NEW for WOC 2019! Using the newest design tools for design and construction of concrete parking facilities, participants will learn techniques for building long lasting concrete parking facilities.  Outlined in this 90-minute program participants will utilize proper subgrade/subbase support, thickness design, optimized concrete mix design, and proper joint layout for concrete pavements.  Aspects of the new ACI-330.2-17R “Guide for Design and Construction of Concrete Site Paving for Industrial and Trucking Facilities” will be reviewed during this presentation. These pavement designs when properly constructed will last 20-30 years or longer with little or no maintenance.

1. Identify proper pavement design aspects per ACI-330
2. Analyze subgrade/subbase properties for concrete parking facilities
3. Describe thickness and optimized concrete mix design
4. Apply proper joint layout and spacing
